When You Feel Crafty

I’m feeling all crafty this week. And for me crafty means winding up for a writing adventure. Yes, I plan on doing NaNoWriMo next month but more than that I’m having fun crafting my current story. It’s taken a while to feel crafty again after finishing my first series. I’ve always heard that when you’re a writer you should start your next story as soon as you finish the one you are working on but that didn’t go over well for me. It’s been months. I have been writing a little bit, researching a little bit, and thinking a lot. So I guess I’m getting back in the groove and that’s a good place to be. How about you? Are you feeling crafty? Signing up for National Novel Writing Month? Hope to see you there!

  1. I like that, Jillian. “Crafty.” That’s what we are! Telling lies for fun and profit.

Yes, I’m in for NaNoWriMo this year. And BTW, as a former trial lawyer I always feel crafty.

    Have fun!

  2. Jim, I knew I could count on you to be crafty. :) See you in the NaNo trenches. Fire up the Keurig, save the Halloween chocolate, and utilize the Play Dough to keep your fingers limber morning, noon, and long into the dark and crafty night.
